PokerAI Admins are users that has been granted Sysop rights. Such people have few more tools they can use, they can protect/unprotect pages as well as ban mallicious users that destroy pages, spam and so on. The notion of having Sysop does not interfere with the spirit of open source and free documentation: While everyone is still free to branch the content, and while all texts are still available as open source documentation under GNU Free documentation license the SysOps are taking care about the continious quality and administration of this particular hosting of the Wiki. The Sysop notion is available in other free opensource encyclopedias as well (e.g. Wikipedia, where there are even more and much more complex roles).

How to become Admin
As there are not so many users as of now, the initial process in the time being to become Admin is very simple: Some user have to nominate you (or you can nominate yourself) and then few other users (say at least 3, and they should have at least 20 page edits) need to vote for you. Use the discussion page (associated with this page, i.e. this page) for the nomination and the voting. If on the course of voting users want to express their veto on the nomination, they can do it as well.
